Do you know the benefits of Blog Commenting?
It can supercharge your blog growth and that too for free.
Most of the bloggers ignore this simple strategy to improve their blog growth and presence over the Internet…
…And some does it vaguely just to get a Backlink but that’s a wrong way of doing it.
If done properly it can do wonders for you…
At the end of this post, I have also shared Do’s and Don’ts of Blog Commenting don’t forget to have a look at them too.
In this post I will mostly put a light on:
5 Benefits of Blog Commenting that will Supercharge Your blog:
This one is obvious, most of the bloggers use Blog Commenting as a tool to get Backlink to their site and is one of the most important benefits of blog commenting…
And Why not!
It is one of the simplest methods to get “links” to one’s site.
Even though most of the time “Backlinks” you get from blog commenting are “no follow links”, but these too hold a value when it comes to search engine priorities.
Suppose, your competitor’s site has 6 “no follow links” and you have none…
Google will obviously give your competitor higher ranking than yours. So, better gear up to outrank your competitor.
You never know you may bounce on a site that gives “do follow links” through comments… keep searching
2. Improve ranking:
As discussed above, we know that blog commenting is an awesome and free tool to get Backlink to your site.
And after since the release of Penguin Algorithm by Google, Backlink holds the most value in deciding the ranking of any site.
So, it is obvious that if you are regular with commenting and driving links back to your site. Your website’s rank will surely go up…
Now tell me, which blogger doesn’t want their website to rank higher on Google?
I can’t think of anyone… Can you?
3. Source of Traffic:
Yes, this is also one of the best benefits of blog commenting. It can drive traffic to your site.
When you comment on someone’s site (If you don’t know how to comment, I will show you the art of commenting at the end of this post…) the readers as well as the author of that site can’t resist checking who the person behind the comment is…
And, what website is he/she working on?
(Note: Mostly depends on the type of comment you leave.)
It can drive a good amount of traffic to your site and if they like your content. Who knows they become your regular reader and you may also get a new subscriber.
There is no end to possibilities… Just keep following the right path
For me, I think there is nothing that can beat blog commenting in building a relationship with other bloggers…
(Do remember: Building relationship is very necessary if you want to be a part of long run)
It is as simple as this:
When you write a blog post, you do a lot of keyword research, find every single information you can gather about the topic and put all your hard work into it and finally, the post Is made and published.
Now suppose, there is a person who comes regularly to your website and leaves valuable comments and appreciates your work.
Who will not like that person?
So here is how you can build relationships with other bloggers.
5. Improve Visibility:
No doubt, it is must to write a good content and you may have heard this line quite a time that “Content is King” and it surely is…!!!
But do you think, it is enough to write an awesome article and hope for visitors to dive into your website…
No, it will never happen on its own…
Apart from other methods of promotion paid or free, Blog Commenting too holds its own place in improving website’s visibility over the Internet. When you frequently post a comment on different blogs, you actually improve your site visibility.
You create an awesome article. Goes to a site and leaves a valuable comment and also a link to that article, which you created with love and hard work.
Whoever hits your link will be directed to that article and voila you got a new visitor…
These all were the benefits of blog commenting…
And now as I promised earlier that I will tell you the tips of commenting on Other’s blog to get the most out of it…
Dos and Don’ts of Blog Commenting:
1. Always Comment on Blog related to your niche. The more niches specific you are the better the results.
2. Read the full article thoroughly, only then leave a comment.
3. Try to bring/add value to the article, either suggest something new or better or ask a genuine question related to the article.
4. If you see someone else’s comment asking for help/suggestion. Don’t miss the opportunity to provide one, if you can.
5. Your comment must contain everything, starting from appreciating the author, giving suggestion/asking a question and should be long enough to hold the attention of both the author as well as other visitors.
1. Don’t comment on every single site you land on. This is a bad practice of blog commenting and surely Google won’t like it and may penalize your site.
Many newbie bloggers fall prey to this in hope of getting Backlink. I don’t want you to be one of them…
2. Don’t leave a one-liner comment. Obviously! No one likes it.
Many times I see comments like “Very nice article, Keep up the good work”…
Huh! A very bad practice of commenting… Even a newbie will get to know that you are just leaving a comment in hope of getting a Backlink and it has nothing to do with the article.
IF you think I ignored something important, do let me know?
Do you comment regularly on other blogs?
If you liked the article, please share it with your blogger friends…
And don’t forget to leave your thoughts the way it is being told…
